On December 6, Baytex Energy Corp announced the approval of its 2012 capital budget of $400 million for exploration and development (E and D) activities.
"It will be a record year for our operations in the Peace River Oil Sands," said Brian Ector, Vice President of Investor Relations at Baytex.
"2012 will be the largest exploration and development cap program in our company's history being directed into the Peace River region."
